    BooksForABuck.com Newsletter--March, 2012

    News and Events

Welcome to the March edition of the BooksForABuck.com newsletter.

Does everyone have gadget envy over the new iPad? Am I the only one who's wondering if it's worth upgrading from the "old" color Nook to the newer Nook Tablet? The eBook revolution is in full swing with Read an EBook Week (BooksForABuck.com is a long-time supporter), the upcoming Epicon where eBook authors and publishers get together and schmooze (this year in San Antonio, Texas), and of course Amazon's continuing efforts to rule the world--at least the world of books. It's an exciting time to be a publisher, an author, and a reader.

    Rob Preece, Publisher

    Coming in March:

In the late 1930s, Hollywood glamour is in full swing, the Nazis rule Germany and have adherents throughout the world... including in the United States, and our heroes, Moxie the ink-slinging reporter and his wife Maxi the Hollywood, confront local Nazis, mysterious Zoodoo magic in New Orleans, and the Hollywood star system. Author Teel James Glenn recreates the pulp fiction of the 1930s with tough guys, hard-drinking females, and lots of wise-cracks. If you like Nick and Nora Charles (The Thin Man), you'll love Moxie and Maxi in their latest adventure: HEADLINE GHOULS. GHOULS will be availble in the week of 3-11, and will be on sale for $1.00 for its first month of availability.

    This Month's Release:
