    News and Events

    • Welcome to the October edition of the newsletter.

Can you believe it's already October. The year is almost over, school is back in session, nights are getting longer and days shorter. For me, fall has always been the time when I settle in for more reading. I'm still battling with Karen over who gets the Kindle (guess I'll have to load up the eBookWise again), but I've made a convert. Once you've tried reading eBooks, it's hard to go back to lugging around paper.

If you're not yet a subscriber to this monthly newsletter, follow the link on the bottom to subscribe. We send only a monthly notification so you won't be bombarded by spam and you'll stay current on new releases, author activities, special information, reviews and eBook news.

    • You can buy stuff from our Cafe Press Store (no markup). (Authors, please let me know if you're interested in your own Cafe Press Store. It's free and I'll be happy to help with artwork and to link to it.)
    • If you haven't already done so, check out our videos page. Trailers, video versions, author rants, and just-for-fun entertainment.
    • Available in bookstores? Thanks to an agreement between printers, many of our books (the paperback versions) are now orderable through your local bookstore. Of course, they're also available through Amazon. Authors, you may be able to work with your local bookstore for signings. e-mail me if you have questions.

    Coming in October:

THE VAN GOGH DECEPTION by Michael Paulson. An American artist in Paris discovers that some of his student projects are being passed as originals by famous artists, and becomes involved in a diamond heist. Between the police, the beautiful woman who seems to tell him nothing but lies, and his own way of sticking his nose where he can only find trouble, our artist is in constant danger. Fun story of crime and more crime.

    Available in September

First Love, Last Love coverFIRST LOVE, LAST LOVE by Victoria Chancellor. They were high school sweethearts, but when Jillian had to stay home and Brad went to college, their relationship ended. Now, though, he's back in town, equipped with a five-year-old child. Can they rekindle the romance, or have they burned too many bridges? FIRST LOVE, LAST LOVE is priced at $3.99, but it'll be on introductory sales pricing of $1.00 until October 16, 2010
