Mystery Month
It's mystery month here at BooksForABuck.com. Which means we'll be working hard to publish the best in mystery (see Coming in September, below), blogging about mysteries, reviewing mysteries, and letting people know about the mysteries we've already published. If you haven't checked out our mystery catalog, and you're a fan of mystery (or romantic suspense), you owe it to yourself to do so. Here's our current list of mystery titles. Here's our list of romance titles--many of them Romantic Suspense.
New Books
Coming in September
Yesterday we issued A FULL ENGLISH DEATH by Anthony Perham. This police procedural is set in England. A pair of hard-bitten London detectives are sent to the rural (and frozen) north of the country to investigate a body found by the side of the road. Their investigation opens their eyes to a different world to them--the beauty and corruption of a small village where everyone knows everything--even things that aren't true. A FULL ENGLISH DEATH will be available for only $3.99, but for the first month of availability, it'll be offered for the promotional price of only $1 (hey, we are named Books For A Buck). Read the review and the prologue here.
Also coming in September, I, PHILIBERT Q. WINSLOW, the latest hard-boiled thriller from author Michael Paulson. When a lawyer's assistant is murdered, the lawyer becomes a suspect. Could it be that he really did murder the beautiful young woman? Paulson creates layer upon layer of complexity in a compelling story. I, PHILIBERT is projected for publication on September 11, 2006. Now available. Only $1--but only until October 11, 2006.
New in August
Did you miss EYE OF THE STORM by Amy Eastlake? This romantic suspense was a Romance Writers of America Golden Heart finalist. It's only $3.99. Check it out here.

What else is new?
More paperback editions. Okay, I still believe that eBooks are the wave of the future. But not everyone is there, and even those of us who love eBooks like having a paper book once in a while (or being able to buy one for our mother, in my case). It's all about choice.
