That Andrea has withheld the truth from him won't help. Worse, though, is that their enforced togetherness is making Andrea think about how nice it would be to make a real family.

Author Judy Christenberry (see more BooksForABuck.com reviews of novels by Christenberry) delivers an emotionally compelling story of fear and growth. Only by taking a chance can Nick learn to love. Only by telling the truth can Andrea discover Nick's true feelings. Yet, the very actions that might bring them joy are also the actions that hold the largest risk. Christenberry's light style makes for a fast read, compelling the reader through to the final crisis--and beyond.
