Ford Hyatt was finished. Sure the man he'd helped set free was innocent--of the one crime he'd been convicted of. That didn't mean he should have been set free to beat a woman senseless. She doesn't expect that the teenage crush she had on Ford will turn into anything real. She's too busy and she's still mad at her for beliving the worst about her. She hadn't counted, though, on how closely they have to work together--or that this grown man is a thousand times sexier than the teenage boy had been.

Lennox manages the delicate balance between romance and mystery/suspense, with sizzling sexual tension, a dangerous plot, and a heroine who's survived one of the most horrible things any mother can imagine--the loss of her only child.
