Sword of the Dajjal by C. Scott Saylor

The following comments reflect the opinions of the authors, not necessarily those of BooksForABuck.com

Sword of the Dajjal, is a fast paced exiting book, set six hundred years into a future ripe with great technical and social advances that nevertheless has stalled and sputtered trying to solve the problems of warfare and political intrigue.

Yes, it’s a story of a possible future, but like the best speculative fiction, it is relevant to today’s headlines from Iraq . This made a richly complex book easy reading. The characters are well drawn and have internal issues of their own.

The book left me feeling that no matter what society we are from—Mecca, Kansas, or even unknown worlds, We are humanity together, and no one will fix us, but ourselves. Our political, military and religious strifes are our own inventions and our own burdens.

    C. Scott Saylor’s SWORD OF DAJJAL, is a socially motivated Science fiction novel that should not go unnoticed. I can hope for p left me ace on Earth, and I can also hope for a sequel to this stellar book-

    Eric Enck- horror author

A Sophisticated, high-tech rollercoaster of military Science Fiction, excellently wrought and concieved. Sword of Dajjal is authentic, from its vistas of polictical intrigue, right down to its exploration of applicable yet genre-pushing physics. Move over Benford, we have another candidate unafraid to to put the "hard" in today's SF.
